Promote...... Promote...... Promote.......
PROMOTE..... PROMOTE...... PROMOTE...... You have figured out your niche. You are unique. It is time to sit in the corner and do nothing. NOT....... You have to go out and promote. How many presentations or seminars have you given in the last year? How many boards do you sit on? How many articles have you published? Do you have a blog? Are you sending a weekly e-mail to your network. Have you written any books or manuals? Are you doing a radio show or do you have a downloadable MP3 program on your website? Are you on TV? Has any publications written about you and what you do? Do you have your own publication? (Even if is a newsletter) OR should I ask....... Who won the World Series of Poker or that matter, the World Series? How about Dancing with the Stars or American Idol? You get the point......... Get out and promote your company and what you do through these grass roots functions and watch your business grow. PS- I have to take time to give cutos to my 9 year old daughter. She won her speech competition in her class and is competing on Friday in front of the whole school. I listened to her this weekend, unbelievable....... I was way too proud. The morale, the little ones are learning early not to be afraid of the microphone...... Had to keep the Little Meeechigan Man posted, Anybody with that much guts deserves two weeks of exposure....... THE HOLIDAYS ARE COMING..... Eagle Creek has rounds of golf for your clients, fashionable apparel along with other gifts in the golf shop and we have a few openings for your Holiday Party. Give me a call today to discuss the golfers on your list.... 407-273-0210
Stand And Give Your Battle Cry
DON'T BE SHY.... STAND AND GIVE YOUR BATTLE CRY..... Most of us are in VERY COMPETITIVE industries and the people that seem to be the most successful are the ones that are not afraid to be unique. Or have corned a niche and have worked it hard. ME TOO does not work anymore if you want to enjoy a profit margin. And giving a bunch of product away and calling it "added value" is a joke. As most of you know, I have always been VERY UNIQUE. And I try every day to bring something that is different to Eagle Creek. If it is this e-mail, a unique marketing idea or injecting humor to my presentations to set us apart. Sometimes I fail and sometimes I do "just OK." And sometimes it happens but I feel it is critical that I keep pushing. There are times when I feel my message is not being heard and I am wasting my time. But then somebody makes a positive comment that rejuvenates the soul. (I recently attended a LMA function and an attorney mentioned that he got a call from a gentleman that attended one of his seminars five years prior. That is motivation to keep pushing) The bottom line, don't be afraid to be unique. Look at the kid in the picture for inspiration :)
